Helmet

• Helmet is compulsary for all the people who drive two wheelers on Jaipur Roads.
• Properly strapping the Helmet is as essential as wearing the helmet itself.
• The Helmet must be ISI compliant. Non compliance is punishable offence under the M.V. Act.

Helmet was made compulsary in Jaipur city in May 2000, and ever since, the death rate has drastically come down. To be precise, the number deaths due to head injuries was 87 in the year 1999, and the figures of 2000 are just 33 deaths.f
